Why some conservatives reject concerns about economic inequality

A recent report from Pew Research, “The American Middle Class Is Losing Ground,” isn’t exactly conducive to holiday cheer for most of us. Middle-income households, defined as those earning $42,000 to $126,000 a year, are capturing a smaller share of the American pie; the middle class, after enjoying a great run as the country’s majority economic group for four decades, appears to have sputtered. In terms of income share, this group is now matched in size by the economic tiers above and below it.

But to many laissez-faire conservatives, this news is far from gloomy. Writer-provocateur and Adam Smith Institute fellow Tim Worstall, writing at Forbes, complains (after warning that people often read statistics to justify their political biases) that the report will send folks “bleating away about the death of the American middle class” and collapsing into “shrieks of egalitarian horror” when we should be cheering. He argues that the “bleaters” have got it wrong. The real story is not that the middle class is shrinking but that the upper middle class is expanding and, most important, the ranks of the poor are decreasing.
In Worstall’s mind, the poor appear to be “movin’ on up,” just like George Jefferson of sitcom fame, catapulting into higher echelons to join the rich. Hooray for unbridled capitalism! How could everyone have gotten the story wrong?
Actually, Worstall gets it almost all wrong. He admits, in a note appended to his column, that he misread the Pew chart, which shows quite clearly that the ranks of the poor are, in fact, growing rather than shrinking. The theme song of this chart not “Movin’ On Up” but “Slip-Slidin’ Away.”

The Pew numbers indicate that in 1971, 16 percent of Americans were in the lowest income tier and 9 percent were in the second-lowest tier (the two groups below the middle class). That’s 25 percent of us, or 1 in 4, living below the middle-income level. Fast-forward to 2015: Now we’ve got 20 percent in the lowest tier and 9 percent in the second lowest, for a total of 29 percent below the middle class. A bigger percentage of us is badly off.

The Pew report further states that the middle-income tier shrank during this period, from 61 percent of Americans in 1971 to 50 percent in 2015. Worstall grumpily acknowledges that he screwed up in claiming that “we’ve got fewer poor people” today and explains that he suffered from “brain spasms that had me reading the left hand side of the chart chronologically downwards and the right hand side upwards.”
Yet even after realizing his mistake, he asserts, quite unembarrassed, that the substance of his argument that the shrinking middle class is not a problem holds true. Why? Because, he says, more people have gotten richer than have gotten poorer, so even if the middle class is proportionally shrinking, things are still looking good.
It is a near-religious belief among free market fundamentalists that having more rich people is good for society; it’s the essence of trickle-down economics. Many insist that inequality itself is good for society because it drives people to succeed and, besides, the market should decide who makes it. Former Sen. Rick Santorum notably made this claim in 2012, saying, “There is income inequality in America. There always has been, and hopefully — and I do say that — there always will be.” 

There may be a few more people joining the ranks of the rich, but the real news is that those who are already rich are getting much, much richer.

To abandon such notions is to admit that policy choices in the last few decades have been detrimental to the American way of life, if by that you mean increased opportunity and mobility for the many rather than the few. Thus the brain spasms working their way through the conservative punditry in the wake of the Pew report: Over at The National Review, Scott Winship argues that too many analysts are “hung up on inequality,” that a “modest increase in polarization” of incomes is nothing to worry about and that, anyway, the Pew definition of middle income is arbitrary. He also trots out the familiar claim that the poor are better off than they used to be, a view shared by Rep. Darrell Issa, the wealthiest member of Congress, who has cited such amenities as coffeemakers and cable TV accessible to America’s poor, as opposed to those living in the developing world. No doubt Ebenezer Scrooge would agree.

Free market champions reading the Pew chart see percentages rise more sharply in the very richest category and jump to the conclusion that the chances of becoming rich are increasing. But the reason for that sharp rise is that there are fewer rich people than poor people in absolute numbers. There are about 46 million Americans living below the poverty line. In contrast, there are some 10 million folks in the U.S. living in millionaire households.
According to Pew, there are 120.8 million adults living in middle-income households, compared with 121.3 million who are in upper- or lower-income households; 9 percent are in the highest quintile, and 20 percent are in the lowest. It’s clear from the Pew report that the people who have the biggest incomes have been pulling away from the pack in terms of their share of wealth — a trend that shows no sign of slowing.
“The share of U.S. aggregate household income held by upper-income households climbed sharply, from 29 percent in 1970 to 49 percent in 2014,” Pew states. “More recently, upper-income families, which had three times as much wealth as middle-income families in 1983, more than doubled the wealth gap; by 2013, they had seven times as much wealth as middle-income families.”
There may be a few more people joining the ranks of the rich, but the real news is that those who are already rich are getting much, much richer.
Worstall is right about one thing: Our political biases influence the story we attach to numbers. The laissez-faire defenders want so badly to erase the problem of inequality and reduced prosperity for the bulk of Americans that their brains fail to read simple charts and employ elementary logic.
They do not want to believe that more Americans are becoming worse off, because this development flies in the face of the big free market promises made by Milton Friedman and his followers — that unfettered capitalism will deliver the best outcomes to society. But if you take off the ideological blinders, it’s easy to read the plain numbers on the wall. A giant chunk of Americans is sinking economically, and we need to focus on policies that aid the drowning and make room for ordinary people among all the mega-yachts.

In the context of the 14th anniversary of 9/11, it’s important to remind people that we still don’t know what happened that day.
What is known about 9/11 is that there are many incredible facts that continue to be ignored by the government and the mainstream media. Here are fourteen.

1. An outline of what was to become the 9/11 Commission Report was produced before the investigation began. The outline was kept secret from the
   Commission’s staff and appears to have determined the outcome of the investigation.
2. The 9/11 Commission claimed sixty-three (63) times in its Report that itcould find “no evidence” related to important aspects of the crimes.
3. One person, Shayna Steiger, issued 12 visas to the alleged hijackers in Saudi Arabia. Steiger issued some of the visas without interviewing the applicants and fought with another employee at the embassy who tried to prevent her lax approach.
4. Before 9/11, the nation’s leading counter-terrorism expert repeatedly notified his friends in the United Arab Emirates of top-secret U.S. plans to capture Osama bin Laden. These treasonous leaks prevented Bin Laden’s capture on at least two separate occasions.
5. Former National Security Advisor Sandy Berger was caught stealing documents from the National Archives that had been requested by the 9/11 Commission. The Commission had previously been denied access to the documents but the White House reluctantly agreed to turn them over just as Berger was trying to steal them..
6. The official story of the failed air defenses on 9/11 was changed several times and, in the end, paradoxically exonerated the military by saying that the military had lied many times about its response. The man who was behind several of the changing accounts was a specialist in political warfare (i.e. propaganda).
7. Military exercises being conducted on the day of 9/11 mimicked the attacks as they were occurring and obstructed the response to the attacks. NORAD commander Ralph Eberhart sponsored those exercises, failed to do his job that day, and later lied to Congress about it (if the 9/11 Commission account is true).
8. A third skyscraper collapsed late in the afternoon on 9/11. This was WTC 7, a 47-story building that the government’s final report says fell into its own footprint due to office fires. The building’s tenants included U.S. intelligence agencies and a company led in part by Donald Rumsfeld and Dick Cheney.Meetings were scheduled there to discuss terrorism and explosives on the morning of 9/11.
9. News agencies, including BBC and CNN, announced the destruction of WTC 7 long before it happened. One BBC reporter announced the collapse while viewers could see the still-standing building right behind her in the video. Years later, after claiming that it had lost the tapes and then found them again, BBC’s answer to this astonishing report was that everything was just “confusing and chaotic” that day. Of course, one problem with this is that the news agencies predicted the exact building, of the many damaged in the area, that would collapse. Another big problem is that no one could have possibly predicted the collapse of WTC 7 given the unprecedented and unbelievable official account for how that happened.
10. Construction of the new, 52-story WTC 7 was completed two years before the government knew what happened to the first WTC 7. In fact, when the new building was completed in 2006, the spokesman for the government investigation said, “We’ve had trouble getting a handle on building No. 7.” The construction of the new building, without regard for how the first one was destroyed, indicates that building construction professionals in New York City did not believe it could ever happen again.
11. Ultimately, building construction codes were not changed as a result of the root causes cited by the National Institute for Standards and Technology for destruction of the World Trade Center (WTC) buildings. This fact shows that the international building construction community does not believe that the WTC buildings were destroyed as stated in the official account.
12. AMEC, the company that just finished rebuilding the exact spot where Flight 77 was said to hit, was put in charge of cleanup at the WTC and the Pentagon. The man who ran the company, Peter Janson, was a long-time business associate of Donald Rumsfeld.
13. The response of the U.S. Secret Service to the 9/11 attacks suggests foreknowledge of the events in that the agency failed to protect the presidentfrom the obvious danger posed by terrorists.
14. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission notified the FBI of suspected 9/11 insider trading transactions. That evidence was ignored and the suspects were not even questioned by the FBI or the 9/11 Commission.

There are, of course, many more incredible facts about 9/11 that continue to be ignored by the authorities and much of the media.

My warning that the neoconservatives have resurrected the threat of nuclear Armageddon, which was removed by Reagan and Gorbachev, is also being given by Noam Chomsky, former US Secretary of Defense William Perry, and other sentient observers of the neoconservatives’ aggressive policies toward Russia and China.
Daily we observe additional aggressive actions taken by Washington and its vassals against Russia and China. For example, Washington is pressuring Kiev not to implement the Minsk agreements designed to end the conflict between the puppet government in Kiev and the break-away Russian republics. https://www.rt.com/news/325687-ukraine-rhetoric-sabotage-churkin/ Washington refuses to cooperate with Russia in the war against ISIS. Washington continues to blame Russia for the destruction of MH-17, while preventing an honest investigation of the attack on the Malaysian airliner. Washington continues to force its European vassals to impose sanctions on Russia based on the false claim that the conflict in Ukraine was caused by a Russian invasion of Ukraine, not by Washington’s coup in overthrowing a democratically elected government and installing a puppet answering to Washington.
The list is long. Even the International Monetary Fund (IMF), allegedly a neutral, non-political world organization, has been suborned into the fight against Russia. Under Washington’s pressure, the IMF has abandoned its policy of refusing to lend to debtors who are in arrears in their loan payments to creditors. In the case of Ukraine’s debt to Russia, this decision removes the enforcement mechanism that prevents countries (such as Greece) from defaulting on their debts. The IMF has announced that it will lend to Ukraine in order to pay the Ukraine’s Western creditors despite the fact that Ukraine has renounced repayment of loans from Russia.
Michael Hudson believes, correctly in my view, that this new IMF policy will also be applied to those countries to whom China has made loans. The IMF’s plan is to leave Russia and China as countries who lack the usual enforcement mechanism to collect from debtors, thus permitting debtors to default on the loans without penalty.
In other words, the IMF is presenting itself, although the financial media will not notice, as a tool of US foreign policy.
What this shows, and what should concern us, is that the institutions of Western civilization are in fact tools of American dominance. The institutions are not there for the noble reasons stated in their founding documents.
The bottom line is that Western Capitalism is simply a looting mechanism that has successfully suborned Western governments and all Western “do-good” institutions.
As in George Orwell’s 1984, the IMF is dividing the world into warring factions — the West vs. the BRICS.
To avoid the coming conflict that the neoconservatives’ pursuit of American hegemony is bringing, the Russians have relied on fact-based, truth-based diplomacy. However, neocon Washington relies on lies and propaganda and has many more and much louder voices. Consequently, it is Washington’s lies, not Russia’s truth, that most of the Western sheeple believe.
In other words, Russia was misled by believing that the West respects and abides by the values that it professes. In fact, these “Western values” are merely a cover for the unbridled evil of which the West consists.
The Western peoples are so dimwitted that they have not yet understand that the “war on terror” is, in fact, a war to create terror that can be exported to Muslim areas of Russia and China in order to destabilize the two countries that serve as a check on Washington’s unilateral, hegemonic power.
The problem for the neocon unilateralists is that Russia and China—although misinformed by their “experts” educated abroad in the neoliberal tradtion, people who are de facto agents of Washington without even knowing it—are powerful military powers, both nuclear and conventional. Unless Russia and China are content to be Washington’s vassal states, for the neoconservatives, who control Washington and, therefy, the West, to press these two powerful countries so hard can only lead to war. As Washington is not a match for Russia and China in conventional warfare, the war will be nuclear, and the result will be the end of life on earth.
Whether ironic or paradoxical, the US is pushing a policy that means the end of life. Yet, the majority of Western governments support it, and the insouciant Western peoples have no clue.
But Putin has caught on. Russia is not going to submit. Soon China will undersand that US dependency on China’s workforce and imports is not a protection from Washington’s aggression. When China looks beyond its MIT and Harvard miseducated neoliberal economists to the writing on the wall, Washington is going to be in deep trouble.
What will Washington do? Confronted with two powerful nuclear forces, will the crazed neocons back off? Or will their confidence in their ideology bring us the final war?
This is a real question. The US government pays Internet trolls to ridicule such quesions and their authors. To see the people who sell out humanity for money, all you have to do is to read the comments on the numerous websites that reproduce this column.
Nevertheless, the question remains, unanswered by the Western presstitute media and unanswered by the bought-and-paid-for stooges in the US Congress and all Western “democracies.”
Indications are that Russia has had enough of Amerian arrogance. The Russian people have elevated a leader as they always do, and which Western countries seldom, if ever, do. The West has triumphed by technology, not by leadership. But Vladimir Putin is Russia’s choice of a leader, and he is one. Russia also has the technology and a sense of itself that no longer exists in the diversified West.
There is nothing like Putin anywhere in the West, over which presides a collection of bought-and-paid-for-puppets who report to private interest groups, such as Wall Street, the military-industrial complex, the Israel Lobby, agribusiness, and the extractive industries (energy, mining, timber).
At the 70th Anniversary of the United Nations (September 28), Putin, backed by the President of China, announced that half of the world no longer accepts American unilateralism. Additionally, Putin said that Russia can no longer tolerate the state of affairs in the world that results from Washington’s pursuit of hegemony.
Two days later Putin took over the fight against ISIS in Syria.
Putin, still relying on agreements with Washington, relied on the agreement that Russia would announce beforehand its attacks on ISIS installations in order to prevent any NATO-Russian air encounters. This was an act of war, committed by Washington and Turkey, and thereby Washington’s European NATO vassal states against a nuclear power capable of exterminating all life in every one of the countries, including the “superpower US.”
This simple fact should make even the American super-patriots, who wear the flag on their sleeve, wonder about the trust they place in “their” government and in Fox “news,” CNN, NPR, and the rest of the presstitutes who continually lie every minute of every broadcast.
But it won’t. Americans and Europeans are too insouciant. They are locked tightly in The Matrix, where the impotent creatures are content to live without understanding reality.
Realizing that it is pointless to attempt to communicate to the Western sheeple, who have no input into their government’s policy, Putin now sends his message directly to Washington.
Putin’s message is loud and clear in his order directed against any US/NATO operations against Russia in its Syrian operations against ISIS:

Putin followed up this order with another order to the Russian Defense Ministry Board:

Russia’s Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reported at the Defense Ministry meeting that 56 percent of Russia’s nuclear forces are new and that more than 95 percent are at a permanent state of readiness. The few Western news sources that report these developments pretend that Russia is ”saber-rattling” without cause.
To make it clear even for the insouciant Western populations, everything that Reagan and Gorbachev worked for has been overthrown by crazed, demented, evil American neoconservatives whose desire for hegemony over the world is driving the world to extinction.
These are the same bloodthirsty war criminals who have destroyed seven countries, murdered, maimed, and displaced millions of Muslim peoples, and sent millions of refugees from the neocon wars into Europe. None of these war criminals are protected from terrorist attack. If the alleged “Muslim threat” was real, every one of the war criminals would be dead by now, not the innocent people sitting in Paris cafes or attending parties in California.
Neocons are the unhumans who created on purpose the “war against terror” in order to gain a weapon against Russia and China. You can witness these unhumans every day on talk TV and read them in the Weekly Standard, National Review, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, the British, German, Australian, Canadian, and endless Western newspapers.

In my recent writings I have explained the many agendas served by the false flag Paris attack. I also predicted that other countries would follow France’s lead in closing their borders, thus dispossessing the dissenting political parties of their issue and preserving the political power and control of the European establishment. Discussing the situation today with a friend brought to mind another benefit to the establishment of the Paris attack. Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders, who were on the verge of taking the presidential nominations away from the establishment, have had their momentum disrupted by the Paris attack. By the time the Paris attack and all that will come in its wake run their course—new military measures against ISIL, Western intervention without Syrian government approval, PATRIOT Acts for European countries, and possibly a new and more draconian PATRIOT Act for the US, increased association of dissent with ISIL terrorism—Trump and Sanders will no longer command attention. Pushed aside, they will not regain the limelight.
Just as with 9/11, Charlie Hebdo and the Boston Marathon Bombing, the media was scripted with the story and ready to go the minute the happening was reported. There is no investigation, no questioning, just the media moving in lockstep with the scripted official story. Again the perpetrators conveniently leave their ID. Again the attack coincides with an official drill of the attack. No matter how transparent the false flag attack and the agendas served by it, patriotism whipped to a frenzy blinds people to the reality.

Evidence known so far strongly indicates false flag responsibility for Friday’s Paris attacks. They’re usually identifiable the way fingerprints ID people.
They’re strategically timed, most often for what’s planned to follow. Post-9/11 horrors are well documented. America declared still ongoing war on humanity.
The 9/11 incident provided a treasure trove of giveaways showing what happened was other than the official narrative. The most obvious was how could a handful of terrorists outwit America’s 16 intelligence agencies, including sophisticated NSA eavesdropping on anyone or anything suspicious back then?
No evidence implicated Al Qaeda. Nothing to this day – yet claims persist. Without verifiable hard facts, they’re specious.
The official 9/11 story was beginning-to-end contradictions and Big Lies – still supported by media scoundrels as gospel despite volumes of evidence proving otherwise.
Bin Laden was dying of natural causes in a Pakistan hospital, reported by CBS on 9/10/01. The New York Times and other sources reported his death in December 2001. Obama did not kill Osama. The Big Lie persists.
The mother of all all Big Lies still links so-called Arab terrorists to what happened. Most named on the fated flights were discovered alive and well in their home countries, mainly Saudi Arabia.
Claims about Mohamed Atta’s luggage found at Boston’s Logan Airport containing “decisive evidence” about Al Qaeda’s responsibility were false – including a Saudi passport, an alleged letter saying he planned martyrdom to go to heaven, video instructions on flying Boeing airliners, and other belongings. They were planted to blame Al Qaeda for what happened.
A key unanswered question was why Atta’s alleged luggage wasn’t on the flight he was accused of hijacking and piloting. Travelers don’t leave their belongings behind when boarding flights or disembarking to reach destinations.
No one ever explained why Atta went to Portland, ME from Boston on September 10, necessitating an early return the next day to be on Flight 11.
Another passport allegedly belonging to one of the hijackers was mysteriously found near the Twin Towers site, miraculously not burned by ignited jet fuel.
While the events of 9/11 were unfolding, Secret Service agents let George Bush remain at a Sarasota, FL school for 30 minutes after learning about the second twin tower strike. Standard procedure calls for securing his safety immediately in case of potential danger.
Architects, structural engineers and other knowledgeable professionals know it’s scientifically impossible for jet fuel to heat high enough to melt or cause rigid steel columns to crumble.
Controlled demolitions destroyed both towers. Building 7 fell the same way. A likely cruise missile, not an aircraft, struck the Pentagon. No bodies or aircraft parts were found at the site.
Numerous other Big Lies and contradictions completely destroyed the official 9/11 narrative. Will Friday’s Paris attack unravel the same way? Odds strongly suggest it.
Important clues already exist. Again most important: How could a few terrorists outwit French intelligence? The attacks were a carefully orchestrated, well planned military operation requiring some degree of sophistication. Weeks of planning likely preceded it.
Operatives were armed with automatic weapons and explosive belts. How could they have entered attack sites unnoticed? How was this possible – dressed in black heavily armed?
They were well known to French security agencies, likely kept under surveillance. Why was nothing done to prevent the attacks or intervene straightaway once they began?
Syrian and Egyptian passports were found at the Stade de France stadium, one of the attack sites, begging the obvious question: Why would operatives carry IDs? Clearly they were planted – the Mohamed Atta scheme redux.
French authorities claim three terrorist teams carried out the well-coordinated attacks. Do they know more than they’re telling?
Le Monde reported one team fled Paris by car with a Belgium license plate. Paris police chief Micheal Cadot said all attackers were killed.
French President Francois Hollande straightaway blamed ISIS despite no evidence indicating its involvement. His behavior was an automatic red flag.
A so-called ISIS statement claiming responsibility remains unverified, yet it made headlines, likely getting most people to believe it. Anyone can call themselves ISIS and claim responsibility. The statement remains meaningless.
The incident preceded multi-nation November 14 talks in Vienna on Syria and the November 15-16 G-20 meeting. Washington and key NATO allies likely want so-called war on terror escalated, not resolved.
Resolution defeats America’s imperial agenda. Israel is suspect. Netanyahu wants justification to keep reigning terror on a defenseless Palestinian population.
France and other European countries need justification to close their borders to the human refugee flood caused by US-led imperial wars. They now have it.

“(O)ur hearts and our prayers are with the people of Paris. (Y)ou know, we know all about this feeling because of what we experienced on 9/11.” De Blasio stopped short of explaining state-sponsored terrorism behind the fateful attacks.
Brazil’s Rio de Janeiro’s Christ the Redeemer statue was lit in France’s tricolors. So was London’s Wembley Stadium, New Zealand’s Memorial Museum and Sky Tower, Sydney, Australia’s Opera House, Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur Tower, San Francisco’s City Hall, Washington, DC’s Verizon Center, and numerous other sites.
Paris, called “The City of Light,” went dark. Its signature Eiffel Tower turned off its lights. So did New York’s Empire State Building, as well as Chicago’s Sears Tower and John Hancock Center.
The world community clearly supports whatever response France intends – complicit with Washington, Britain, likely Israel and other rogue allies.
Expect the worst ahead, including greater police state erosion of fundamental freedoms, endless wars of aggression, likely escalating, perhaps new ones initiated, more mass slaughter and destruction, greater numbers of refugees desperate to find safe havens – now likely shunned by Europe.
There was nothing ordinary about Friday’s Paris attacks. False flags are planned for a reason. Expect nothing good following what happened.

"The most unique thing about the 2014-2015 tetrad is that all of them are visible for all or parts of the U.S.A.," said NASA eclipse expert Fred Espenak. In the 21st century, there will be many such tetrads, but look back a few centuries, and you'll find the opposite phenomenon, NASA says. Something very significant seems forthcoming between the January 5, 2015 and the final blood moon of the tetrad on September 28, 2015. The final blood moon of the tetrad is a “Supermoon,” the only one seen by all of Jerusalem. I would watch the nation of Israel during this time to see how the nations (U.N.) treat Israel, how Obama treats Israel, and what natural catastrophes occur during this time-frame. Feast of Tabernacles or booths, also called Sukkot in Hebrew, begins on the 15th of Tishrei and finishes on the 22nd of Tishrei. Tishrei is the 7th month on the Hebrew calendar. This month falls in September or October. In 2015, Sukkot I falls on September 28th.

The Final Total Lunar Eclipse of the Tetrad Will Be on January 21, 2019

A series of four consecutive eclipses is known as a tetrad.

There is a partial solar eclipse tetrad leading up to January 5, 2015, and there is apartial solar eclipse tetrad continuing after January 5, 2015.

Additionally, there are five total lunar eclipses leading up to January 5, 2015 and there are five total lunar eclipses continuing after January 5, 2015. Included in this group of 10 is a blood red moon tetrad beginning on April 15, 2014 and going to September 28, 2015

January 5, 2015 is the midpoint because the eclipses leading up to and continuing after that date are in exact symmetry, which has never happened before in the last 5,000 years.



The 10 total lunar eclipses (blood red moons) — beginning on December 21, 2010 and going to January 21, 2019, and the eight partial solar eclipses — beginning on January 4, 2011 and going to January 6, 2019 — are PERFECTLY CENTERED on the midpoint — January 5, 2015 — of the blood red moon tetrad beginning on April 15, 2014 and going to September 28, 2015.

The blood red moon tetrad that begins on April 15, 2014 and goes to September 28, 2015 falls on biblical Jewish feast dates:

1. April 15, 2014: Passover
2. October 8, 2014: Tabernacles
3. April 4, 2015: Passover
4. September 28, 2015: Tabernacles

All total lunar eclipses from December 21, 2010 to January 21, 2019, and all partial solar eclipses from January 4, 2011 to January 6, 2019, are literally in absolute perfect symmetry around the blood red moon tetrad of April 15, 2014, October 8, 2014, April 4, 2015 and September 28, 2015.

During a total lunar eclipse, the moon's disk can take on a colorful appearance from bright orange to blood red to dark brown and, rarely, very dark gray.

In Revelation chapter 6, the apostle John is show a vision of what happens during the opening the sixth seal, which includes a description of the sun and moon (this is just before the cosmic disturbances brought on by the sounding of the first four trumpets, which is followed by the release of Satan from the bottomless pit, which is the fifth trumpet and the first woe):

"And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood."

6/1/2011 and 8/11/2018 are the dates of the second and seventh partial solar eclipses in the tetrads leading up to and continuing after the midpoint of January 5, 2015.

12/21/2010 - 1/21/2019 - 10 blood red moons in perfect symmetry

If 2015 is the year of Jubilee (beginning in September of that year), then the beginning of the great tribulation would be 1260 days prior to that, which is the Passover season of April 2012. The winter solstice in the Northern Hemisphere occurred on December 21, 2012. The Mayan calendar actually predicts the end of an age and the beginning of a new one (the age of Aquarious) on December 21, 2012, which, for the Illuminati, could be a marker for their New World Order and World Government.

The 1290 Days of Daniel 12:11 V. the 1260 Days of Revelation

The biblical year is made up of 360 days (considering an ancient Hebrew month to be 30 days).

The 1,260 days of Revelation is equivalent to 42 months, and also to 3½ years (or "time, times and half a time" = "a year, two years and a half a year"):

• 1,260 days (Revelation 11:3, 12:6),
•  42 months (Revelation 11:2), and
•  3½ years = time, times and half a time (Daniel 7:25, 12:7; Revelation 12:14).

The 1290 days of  in Daniel 12:11 is clearly in reference to the "time times and half a time" spoken about four verses earlier in Daniel 12:7. So the reference to 1290 days means that an extra 30 days is extending out beyond the 70th Week of Daniel.

From 6/1/2011 though 8/11/2018 (the dates of the second and seventh partial solar eclipses in the tetrads leading up to and continuing after the midpoint of January 5, 2015), there are 2590 biblical days [2520 + 70 (29 + 30 + 11)] 

1260 days given to us in the Book of Revelation + 1335 days given to us in the Book of Daniel = 2595, which is five days more than 2590.

8/11/2018 and 1/6/2019 are the dates of the last two partial solar eclipses in the tetrad after the midpoint of January 5, 2015.

From 8/11/2018 through 1/6/2019, it is five days less than exactly five months, which in Revelation is the time period described as great torment for those without the seal of God (this is the fifth trumpet,the first "woe"). [At the sixth trumpet, the second "woe," one-third part of mankind is killed; at the seventh trumpet, the last "woe," Christ returns in the clouds of heaven].

"And I [John] saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to Him was given the key of the bottomless pit. And He opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. The Parable of the Fig Tree; The Day and Hour Unknown

When the fig tree's branches are tender and the leaves come out, you know that summer is near. Likewise, when you see all the things that Jesus tells us in Matthew 24, you know that the coming of the Son of man is near, right at the doors. The generation (a generation being 70 years) that sees all the signs of the end times, as described by Jesus in Matthew 24, will not pass until all these things be fulfilled.

“Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away." (NIV)

“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left." (NIV)

Pray That Your Flight Not Be on the Sabbath or in the Winter or That You Are Not Pregnant or Have an Infant to Nurse:

When that event occurs, those . . . in Judea should flee to the mountains. They should not be concerned about taking anything with them or returning from the field for possessions, not even for a cloak. The time following this event will be a time of great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world . . . and never to be equaled again (Jeremiah 30:7). The awful character of the Tribulation period cannot be truly grasped by anyone. This was why Jesus pointed out how difficult the time would be for pregnant women and nursing mothers (Matthew 24:19). He encouraged people to pray that their escape would not have to be in the winter when it would be difficult or on the Sabbath when travel would be limited. There was an encouraging note, however, for the Lord declared that those days would be cut short (v. 22). This meant there will be a termination of this period of time, not that the days will be fewer than 24 hours. If it were to go on indefinitely, no one would survive. But the period will come to an end for the sake of the elect, those who will be redeemed in the Tribulation and who will enter the kingdom.

Do you see the point Jesus was making by talking about not waiting until wintertime to flee? He was telling us that since we know that Armageddon is near, we do not want to delay in taking action. So we would be just like those at the time of the great Flood who heard Noah but did not get inside the ark.

Jesus lists three things that would hinder fleeing the city: Matthew 24:15-21:

1. Pregnant or nursing mothers hindered for obvious reasons.
2. Winter would hinder because of exposure to cold and snow.
3. Sabbath day because gates of the Jewish-controlled city of Jerusalem would be locked and they could not get out!

History of Tetrad of Eclipses

A tetrad of lunar eclipses on feast days has only occurred two times in the last 500 years: 1949-1950 and 1967-1968. During each of those tetrads of total eclipses Israel was at war.

Though Israel was declared an independent state in 1948, the war with its neighbors began after its first day and lasted for a year. Therefore, the first lunar eclipse of 1949 occurred during this war for the establishment of Israel. The next tetrad began on Passover 1967, which was just six weeks before the Six-Day-War. Therefore, these two significant wars of Israel were covered by each tetrad period.

The time before those tetrads of eclipses on feast days was in 1493-1494. In 1492 the Jews were kicked out of Spain. Another interesting fact is that all of these tetrads occurred in Hebrew “pregnant years” or years with 13 months.  

These facts lead us to wonder if the upcoming tetrad is a sign from God that something significant will occur in 2014-2015 in regards to Israel? Will they be involved in another major war at that time, possibly a war with her Arab neighbors where she regains the Temple Mount, setting the stage for major events of the end times? This is something to ponder and watch for and, in my opinion, gives us a definite indication that the end times are upon us. 

The month of Av, in the Hebrew calendar, is called the “dark time.” This is when the Jews really get serious about lamenting the destruction of the Temple. They don’t bathe, they don’t shave, they don’t put on fresh clean clothes, they take their shoes off, turn their chairs upside down, sit on the upturned chair. They do not want any comfort for those next nine days from the 1st to the 9th of Av.

We know that the month of Av — and especially the 9th of Av — has been the most trying period throughout history for the Jewish people. The reason being is becausehistorically on the 9th of Av the 10 spies brought back the bad report and didn’t want the land; they despised it. Because of that, that day has been cursed in Jewish history. 

• When Nebuchadnezzar destroyed the Temple it was the 9th of Av.
• 600 years later, when Rome destroyed the Temple, it was the 9th of Av.
• All the Jews were kicked out of England in 1290 on the 9th of Av.
• All the Jews were kicked out of Spain in 1492 on the 9th of Av.
• World War I started on the 9th of Av.
• Hitler’s proclamation to kill the Jews came on the 9th of Av.
• And they evacuated the Gaza strip at sundown on the 9th of Av.

All of the following attacks on the Jewish nation took place on Tisha B'Av.:

• BC 1312 - According to rabbinic teaching, God decreed the children of Israel would not enter the Promised Land due to the sin of the twelve spies
• BC 586 - First Temple destroyed
• AD 70 - Second Temple destroyed
• 135 - Rome's takeover of Israel complete
• 136 - Roman emperor desecrated Temple
• 1096 - Pope Urban II declared the First Crusade, murdering masses of Jews
• 1290 - Jews expelled from England
• 1306 - Jews expelled from France
• 1492 - Jewish expulsion from Spain completed on this date (Spanish Inquisition-cursing both the Jews and the Spanish empire)
• 1648 - Chmelnicky massacred thousands of Polish Jews
• 1914 - World War I began, culminating in World War II and the Nazi Holocaust

The point is that all the full lunar eclipses, beginning with December 21, 2010 and going until January 21, 2019 — and all the partial eclipses from January 4, 2011 and going to January 6, 2019 — are PERFECTLY CENTERED on the midpoint — January 5, 2015 - of this current blood moon tetrad.

This has literally never happened before — if NASA's data is accurate — in the last 5000 years. If you study his other charts at his site, you will see that the previous blood moon tetrads that fell on feast dates are building to THIS ONE.

So, it's not just that there are four blood moons that fall on the biblical feast dates. It's that ALL lunar eclipses, partial and full, from December 21, 2010 to January 21, 2019 are literally in absolute perfect symmetry around these current blood moons.

If you will go and check out his 8B chart, you will see that the solar eclipses are also involved, falling on biblically important days.

This is beyond astonishing. How can it be anything other than a sign? "There will be signs in the sun and the moon and the stars." 

There were THREE total solar eclipses, falling on exactly Av 1 in 2008, 2009 and 2010. The lunar eclipse that starts the chart above is the very next eclipse that falls after that total solar eclipse of July 11, 2010. It's as though God was shouting via the heavens that something is coming — pay attention!

Blood moons falling on the exact start of biblical feast days has happened eight times in the last 2000 years:

1. 162-163
2. 795-796
3. 842-843
4. 860-861
5. 1493-1494
6. 1949-1950
7. 1967-1968
8. 2014-2015

And, having the full and partial eclipses leading up to and after the tetrad, as in the 2014-2015 one, being in exact symmetry, has never happened before in the last 5,000 years. That is the point of the chart.

I have been following the Blood Moon subject with interest because I do believe that the Biblical reference to the sun/sackcloth and moon/blood is referring to eclipses as signs of the approach of day of the Lord. 

Use the actual maximum eclipse time, not just the date. If you allow the end date (January 5, 2015) to be any time the moon is visible that day, it works out. You will get days plus some hours. Those hours into the next day. For example, the one where you have 89 is actually 89 plus some hours into the 90th day. It would appear that is the way the guy did the chart, with actual eclipse time.

Using the NASA time of greatest eclipse for both sides of that particular entry 11/25/2011 and 2/15/2018 and changing it to my CST and using the end time of 7:32 a.m. on January 5, 2015, which is one minute before the moon sets here in my area, the two turn out to be:

11/25/11 - 1137 days, 7 hours, 29 minutes
2/15/18 - 1137 days, 7 hours, 20 minutes.

Pretty darn near symmetrical in my book.

In fact, (I know this is extreme, but I tend to lean this way), I bet if I had the exact time of greatest eclipse for my town as I was able to have for the moonset, the two would be identical.

And, with the hours into the next day, you'd write it as 1138 days, exactly as he has it on the chart.

The fact three of these moons are visible to the Anglo-Saxon people and only One will be visible in Jerusalem ought to trigger some questions, don't you think? Ponder this fact, THREE is God''s number of finality. These moons are warnings. To whom?These are the FINAL warnings. Something important begins to happen thereafter.2015 will be the Third "land rest cycle" since 9/11/01. Is that possibly significant? Did I dig out any thing?

I haven't checked all the dates, but the ones I have are symmetrical down to minutes.

Remember, if you're going to check this for yourself, you need to use the exact time for maximum eclipse — not just the date. For the midpoint, I chose a time when the moon was up in my area on January 5 — again, using an actual time, not just the date. For me, here, the moon is up from midnight to 7:32 a.m. on January 5.

I am looking forward to the Supermoon in September 2015. That will be something to behold!

It seems the mid-point of January 5, 2015 is the mid point of *something* but who knows what? I've tried to find out what the date would be if we back tracked 1260 days (3.5 years) from January 5, 2015 but I can't find that date.

Answer: July 25, 2011. It was a Monday.
 
The years for the start time of The Tribulation, of 2014, 2015 and 2016, are interesting because of the four Blood Red Moons in 2014/2015 — The Tetrad of Blood Red Moons on God’s Feast Days — This could be a Significant Sign and may not happen again for another 500 Years. 

We are currently in the 70th Jubilee cycle since the very first Jubilee, which occurred when Joshua led the children of Israel into the promised land and liberated it from the Canaanites. The beginning of that liberation was heralded with the blowing of the Yobel rams horns. The word "Jubilee" comes from Yobel. At the blowing of the seventh trumpet, the walls of Jericho collapsed.

70 is a prophetic number. Daniel the prophet spoke of 70 sevens that must be fulfilled in order for redemption to come. Jeremiah the prophet spoke of 70 years of judgment in which Israel would be enslaved to Babylon. The enslavement, by the way, occurred because Israel did not keep the statutes of the Jubilee. The noble class would not let the serfs go free. Therefore the nobles were enslaved to their worst enemy, Babylon.

I would suggest that the 70th Jubilee is extra significant in that the real estate of the whole planet will be returned to its original owner, the Creator. 2015 could be the year!

So what happens before then? Jesus said there would be a time of great tribulation worse than any other time in history. Don't think Satan is going to be nice about giving back the planet to the Creator. This will be WW III.

Jesus referred to Daniel's prophecies about this time. Daniel said this time would be for 1260 days, or 3 1/2 years. The book of Revelation concurs with this, referring to 42 months as the time of the great struggle.

IF (big if)....2015 is the year of Jubilee (beginning in September of that year), then the beginning of the great tribulation would be 1260 prior to that, which is the Passover season in April 2012.

If you read Isaiah 9-10/11...the prophecy holds true...according to the Shmita...the next 7 years will end on Sept 13, 2015. It will be the 3rd and final warning from The Lord (9/11/2001 and 2008 financial collapse the first two).

Consider the pole shifting of the moon in January 2012, and this is what I have contributed to part of the awakening phenomenon. Our minds, I believe are influenced by magnetic polarity but only the Earth's magnetic flux is of the greatest strength, and I do see a parallel to the Law of God in nature, as well, and by using Magnetism to illustrate it.

The imagery of 144,000 may be seen in our present politics. The image of the elect is 144,000 and may be symbolic in nature, and with this idea we can see this image in our world. For examples, the image for God's elect is 144 in this example of imagery. Then we have counterfeiting of this imagery used by Satan as he manipulates his followers; his workmen use the same image as a counterfeit in a brainwashing conspiracy that does have influence on human DNA and our spiritual mind. This image of 144 is also seen in 1,144 delegates, it may be seen in the Presidential figure of the male and female, the President and his First Lady-wife. The First Lady claims the image of 1 by becoming the Fourth Reich (secretly) and her lawmakers-congressmen claim the image of the elect who are God's lawmakers. The current President is the 44th and together, he and his wife form the image of 144, which is a counterfeit for the authentic Elect lawmakers who are chosen by God and not chosen by man. 1,144 U.S. delegates must approve of the Presidential candidates each election period, and this indicates that the woman and her corrupted lawmakers are manipulating this, entirely.

Verses 19 to 24 strongly suggest a very nasty worldwide socialist revolution some time during the 2013 - 2015 estimated time frame. After the Wormwood dust settles (Rev. 8), the Illuminati socialists divide the world into 10 New World Order administrative regions (“ten horns” or “ten kings” verse 24).

A total lunar eclipse will take place on July 27, 2018. The moon will pass through the center of the Earth's shadow.

"Bull’s-eye Blood Moon"

Celestial Events corresponding to history and the Bull’s-eye Blood Moon.

All lunar eclipses are not the same:

    -          Some of them are total eclipses that turn the entire moon blood red.

    -          Some of them are central lunar eclipses, like hitting the “bull’s-eye” of a dartboard.

    -          Some of them are visible from certain areas of the earth, i.e. Jerusalem.

    -          Some total eclipses fall in patterns of two, three or four.

    -          A set of four total lunar eclipses in a row is referred to as a Tetrad.

    -          Some of them correspond with Jewish Holidays described in the Bible..

Applying the Jewish Feasts as described in the Bible as a sort of filter for these celestial events, there is a remarkable correlation between these lunar eclipses and historic events regarding the Nation of Israel.

For example, there are three Tetrads falling within a current 66-year period that all occur on Jewish holidays. This is the last such sequence for over 300 years. There have been 33 central “bulls-eye” lunar eclipses in the past century, 18 of them fall on Jewish holidays, 6 on high holidays, and only one is within a Jewish Tetrad. That one is Passover, April 13, 1949, which is also the first eclipse of the Jewish Tetrad coincident with the beginning of the Jewish Nation of Israel.

The last Jewish Tetrad happens to be bracketed perfectly by two central lunar eclipses which naturally define both a seven-year period according to Daniel 9 and a 70-year period according to Luke 21:32 and Psalms 90:10.

And as a final note ALL of the eclipses that fall on high holidays happen to be visible from Jerusalem.

After the 1967 Six Day War several Israeli leaders argued against turning the armistice lines into permanent borders on the grounds of Israeli security:

Prime Minister Golda Meir said the pre-1967 borders were so dangerous that it "would be treasonable" for an Israeli leader to accept them.

The Foreign Minister Abba Eban said the pre-1967 borders have "a memory of Auschwitz".

Prime Minister Menachem Begin described a proposal for a retreat to the pre-1967 borders as "national suicide for Israel."

The US, PA, UN, EU, Arab league, and Vatican have ALL declared support for a two-state solution to “The Palestinian Problem”, with the declaration of statehood defined by the pre-1967 borders. This was expected to happen by August 2011.

The last two Jewish Tetrads marked significant events concerning Israel. Will the last one define the final seven-year period before Messiah returns? If so it was written in the heavens at creation and in the Bible for over 2,000 years.

I did verify the blood moon dates using StarryNight and they are correct.
     
June 15, 2011 (blood moon) to July 23, 2018 is 2595 days (1260 + 1335 days given to us in the Book of Daniel) and just 4 days later is July 27, 2018 (blood moon) a total of 2599 days.

From and including: Wednesday, June 15, 2011, blood moon over Jerusalem at approx 10:30pm.

To, but not including : Friday, July 27, 2018, blood moon over Jerusalem at approx 10:30pm.

It is 2599 days from the start date to the end date, but not including the end date

I am not certain what this all means but find it very, very interesting to say the least.
